Hi Charles:
In SP 2007, the Excel Services unattended execution account is entered directly as a username/password. In SP 2010, it was changed to be a Secure Store AppID, which means that you have to work with Secure Store to create it. Sorry, I don't know where Excel Services as a step-by-step sequence to do that. In PowerPivot we have a step-by-step for our stuff, which would likely be similar, but not exactly the same. See:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee210616.aspx#SSS

Hope that helps.

I want to know how to associate Excel Services with an Unattended Execution Account. So far, I have not seen any document on the web which explains how it is done. All the documentation I have seen says to use Central Admin to "Generate Key", but the Excel Services configuration requires an AppID. How is the generated key to be associated with the AppID? Why is there no step by step instruction somewhere of how to do this?
