I’m not sure if this is possible but is there a way to do this in PowerPivot:
We have numerous divisions wanting the same report but we don’t want the divisions to view each other’s reporting data. Is it possible to have one PowerPivot workbook where depending on what division you are a member of that is the information you see only? I don’t think it’s possible but you may have more knowledge about architecture than I do.
Hi Aaron: No, it is not possible. You have to have ‘n’ workbooks — one for each security group. Then configure the SharePoint file permissions so that only the group that you will can see the individual files.
